SUMMARY:ARAID_CONVOCATORIA INTERNACIONAL PARA LA CONTRATACIÓN DE INVESTIGADORAS/ES 2022
DESCRIPTION:La Fundación ARAID lanza una nueva Convocatoria Internacional para contratar hasta un máximo de 4 investigadoras/es en las áreas de investigación específicas abiertas en esta convocatoria\, que demuestren una sólida trayectoria investigadora y una gran capacidad de liderazgo.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDicha convocatoria está abierta a candidatas/os de cualquier nacionalidad que cumplan los requisitos de formación académica y experiencia investigadora exigidos. El número final de contrataciones estará supeditado a la calidad de las propuestas y la disponibilidad del presupuesto. \nSe admitirán hasta un máximo de 3 solicitudes por entidad y/o centro de los Organismos con los que ARAID tiene suscrito un convenio de colaboración para la incorporación de investigadoras/es. Si se supera el número máximo establecido\, serán excluidas todas las solicitudes presentadas por dicha entidad y/o centro. \nRequisitos de las/os candidatas/os: \nSe exige que las/os candidatas/os reúnan 6 o más años de experiencia postdoctoral (al finalizar el plazo de presentación de solicitudes)\, con al menos 2 años en centros de reconocido prestigio nacionales e internacional\, fuera de Aragón. \nNo podrán enviar solicitud las/os candidatas/os que formen parte del personal fijo adscrito al centro que solicita la plaza\, solo aquellos candidatos que tengan contrato no anterior a 01/01/2022. \nÁreas de Investigación abiertas a solicitudes en esta convocatoria:  \n\nAlimentación saludable y One-Health\n(Incluye entre otros: Resistencia antimicrobiana\, preparación contra pandemias\, agroalimentación)\nSalud\, Biotecnología y Biomedicina\nTecnologías Digitales y Espacio\n(Incluye entre otros: Ciberseguridad\, inteligencia artificial\, ciencia de datos)\n\nRequisitos de la Solicitud: \nSolo se evaluarán las solicitudes completas\, entendiendo como tales aquellas que incorporen en plazo: \n\nCurriculum Vitae\nSolicitud del/de la Investigador/a (descripción del proyecto y áreas de investigación)\nCartas de Apoyo/Recomendación (sobre candidata/o y/o proyecto)\nFormulario de Expresión de interés del centro\n\nTodos los documentos de la solicitud deben estar cumplimentados en inglés. \nLa aplicación online de la convocatoria podrá no estar accesible en distintos horarios durante los próximos días debido a varias actualizaciones del sistema. DESCRIPTION:JOB OFFER\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Aragonese Foundation for Research & Development (ARAID) is an Agency in Saragossa (Aragon\, Spain) created by the regional Government to promote research\, development and innovation. Its main activity is the recruitment of researchers by means of regular calls that are open to talented and experienced researchers of various fields of Research and Knowledge that own a recognised research track record at international level. \nIn the frame of ARAID’s competitive call for permanent positions\, the Aragon Health Sciences Institute (IACS) has launched a call for applications to attract outstanding talent on Advanced Therapies. \nJob Profiles\nYou will have a doctorate in biological sciences or a closely related area with a proven track record of high quality\, internationally recognised research\, as evidenced by a strong publication record commensurate with your career stage and previous success in securing your own research funding. You will be able to show that you have the excellent interpersonal skills required to lead and motivate a team of research staff. The successful candidate will have an interest in knowledge transfer and industrial collaboration\, the commercialisation of intellectual property\, and the impact of research translation beyond academia. You will also have a proven record of successful collaboration with colleagues\, and good academic citizenship. Ideally you will also have experience supervising the translational and clinical trial work in support of the development of new cell based therapies\, and developing the service locally and nationally with peers in order to maintain an up to date\, high quality and state of the art patient responsive service. \nUp to 3 positions are offered at the Aragon Health Sciences Institute (IACS)\nThe selected researcher(s) will join the Aragon Health Sciences Institute (IACS)\, a RDI organisation in Saragossa (Aragon\, Spain created in 2002 and currently located within the Aragon Biomedical Research Center (CIBA) built on 2012. IACS is endowed with Core Research facilities and laboratories. \nIACS/CIBA is located in walking distance from the main hospitals in the region: Lozano Blesa Clinical University Hospital (HCULB) and Miguel Servet University Hospital (HUMS). \nThe following positions in the Advance Therapy R&I area are open: \nYou will have the chance to lead a modern well-equipped cell therapy laboratory\, taking responsibility for the relevant scientific and technical staff. Your role will also include the manufacturing of new cell therapies to ensure that the service stays at the cutting edge of patient-focused care. \nThe Advanced Therapies Platform at IACS has around 500 m2 for equipment dedicated to advanced cell therapies in a restricted GMP environment\, from research to development and innovation managed by skilled staff specifically hired for the platform. \nAt IACS you will find a highly stimulating work environment and state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment. Saragossa is home to the 500 years old University of Zaragoza and is proud of its impressive historical legacy. The city lays central to a modern motorway network; it has an airport with European flight connections and has a direct railway connection to Madrid by high-speed train that takes just 1 hour and 15 minutes. \nTalented researchers with the ambition to strengthen an internationally competitive research team working on Advanced Therapies are invited to send CV and motivation letter in English to join these ambitious projects. \nARAID is committed to help foreign researchers with visa and work permit procedures. \nCall conditions\nThe position is open to researcher from all nationalities showing the required academic qualification and research expertise. Candidates are required to have 6 or more years of postdoctoral experience (at the end of the application submission period)\, with at least 2 years in nationally and internationally recognised research institutions outside of Aragon. \nSelected ARAID Researchers at IACS will initially join a work team that considers that they can complement their work or develop a new line\, but their final objective within a reasonable period (3 years) is to achieve their scientific independence leading his/her own research line and group ( \nThis call is open to candidates of any nationality who meet the required relevant academic training and research experience requirements. \nCall deadline is 28Th February 2023 \nWage conditions will be negotiated with the selected candidates and will depend on merits. \nApplication documents\n\nResearcher Application\, Curriculum Vitae and 2 letters of recommendation.\nCompleted EoI form by IACS to be downloaded from https://www.araid.es/es/content/convocatoria-internacional-para-la-contrataci%C3%B3n-de-investigadorases-2022\n\nThe person that would be in charge of the applicant at IACS if he/she would pass the selection process should fill out the EoI form. The EoI form should be printed\, stamped and signed by the Legal Representative of IACS and sent by post (with a handwritten signature) to ARAID or by mail to araid@araid.es (with an electronic signature)\, before call deadline. \nEvaluation procedure\nARAID owns the European HR Excellence certificate and its calls comply with the principles of equality and transparency. \nAn external evaluation commission composed by international experts in the field will peer review and evaluate the applications scoring their scientific excellence and leadership capacity as main criteria. If needed\, the evaluation of a third expert will be requested. Based on this evaluation and on the interviews carried out with the best candidates\, ARAID will set up the final ranking list that will be submitted for approval to the ARAID’s Board of Trustees. \nThe result of the selection process will be published on the website of ARAID and IACS on 30th of June 2023 at the latest.
